“Families benefit so much from Jan’s experiences, skills and
love for people. She should write a book.”
“My Mom
was recuperating from a broken hip in a rehab center. I was
the only family member that lived close enough to visit her
there. She was not doing well.....sleeping all the time,
disoriented about where she was, not recognizing people. It
was hard for me to go and see her like this. Jan made
random visits several times a week so that Mom’s days
wouldn’t be so long and lonely, and I was able to let go of
my guilt about not spending more time with her.”
